Why Health & Safety Representative Training?

The Occupational Health and Safety Act states: "Workplaces with 6 to 19 workers must appoint a Health and Safety Representative elected from the employee ranks who is competent according to the ACT who carries out most of the duties of a Joint Health and Safety Committee ( JHSC). A "competent person" is one who; "is qualified because of knowledge, training, and experience to organize the work and its performance."

This course was designed specifically for Health & Safety Representatives to bring their knowledge up to the "Competent" requirement as per the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario.

In class training for workers, 6 hour training. A certificate of attendance will be issued at the conclusion of the course. Call for Pricing.
