Expert Safety Solutions was founded by Richard Parsons. Its purpose is to provide businesses, trade associations, and various groups with professional consulting and training services, so as to enable those firms to reduce risk, increase profitability, enhance company image, and make their workplace as safe as possible.

Richard has over forty years experience in the transportation industry, as well as many years of managing and supervisory experience. Included in this on the job experience are warehousing, shipping/receiving, and logistics skills as well.

Richard has an overriding passion for road and driver safety, having experienced first hand the sad results of lack of proper training for commercial drivers, and the general lack of respect (road courtesy) shown by many drivers today. To be a professional driver presents many challenges in our fast changing world, and while traveling down an 8% grade in freezing rain with 80,000lbs on is not the time to begin defensive driving training.
